Retail: Fashion and
Corporate Gifting

At Township Fleva, we create opportunities for young people from townships to participate in the economy by producing high-quality products. Our team of full-time fashion employees and graduates from our skills courses focus on manufacturing garments, gifts, and novelty items catering to small, medium, and large corporates.

All design, pattern making, cutting, and sewing are carried out in-house at our own production facility. We manufacture a wide range of products, including men’s and women’s fashion, personal protective equipment, and linen towels, and accessories.

Our novelty business has flourished, with Woolworths, Discovery and Schauenburg among our clients. We pride ourselves on producing quality products in townships that compete favourably in both domestic and international markets.

Tabula Rasa

Our skills development venture is called Tabula Rasa, through this venture,
we offer learnerships in IT NQF Level 4 and 5. These are linked to relevant vendor-based IT skills. We link our graduates to IT based BPO opportunities, currently focused on Cyber Security and Search Engine Optimisation.

By linking learnerships to a BPO programme, we ensure that there is a high absorption rate of learners post the completion of the learnership, a high starting salary for young people, relevant work for young people and a cost saving for our clients.

We use Odyssey Talent as a psychometric tool to select the right candidates for both the learnerships and the BPO positions.

When it comes to BPO, we primarily focus on Search Engine Optimisation and Cyber Security. Our current clients include Grizzly, Nedscaper and Atvance IT. Our learnership clients include FLSmidth, TransUnion, Nairtime and others.

What is Mpathy?

A network of clinics providing high-quality, affordable and accessible care in Africa. This network is an alternative to free public health facilities for millions of Africans, thus improving collective community health, reducing loss of productivity due to health care seeking and illness, improving outcomes for children, and reducing the burden on overstretched state health care facilities.

Clinics are owned and run by nurses who are empowered by owning their own businesses and creating agency and innovation in how they provide critical services. The clinics also provide entry-level jobs to data-capturers and community health workers (CHW).

Revolutionising
Healthcare Access

We are building a network of high quality, low-fee primary healthcare clinics that aims to reach 10 million Africans who depend on the overwhelmed and under-resourced public healthcare system to access quality, efficient healthcare services.

The public healthcare system is collapsing and failing to provide South Africans with efficient quality healthcare.

Rhiza has created a clinic business model that uses the following innovations to create high quality community clinics servicing low-income communities, that are also sustainable nurse-owned businesses.

The scale-up of this model is enabled by a full clinical network model.

What is SeedConnect?

Through SeedFund Connect we provide loan funding for ECD centres to enable the above is why we have set-up an ECD fund. This fund provides increasing loan facilities to existing ECDs, so that they can increase their financial viability and their educational outcomes.
