What is Mpathy?
A network of clinics providing high-quality, affordable and accessible care in Africa. This network is an alternative to free public health facilities for millions of Africans, thus improving collective community health, reducing loss of productivity due to health care seeking and illness, improving outcomes for children, and reducing the burden on overstretched state health care facilities.
Clinics are owned and run by nurses who are empowered by owning their own businesses and creating agency and innovation in how they provide critical services. The clinics also provide entry-level jobs to data-capturers and community health workers (CHW).
Revolutionising
Healthcare Access
We are building a network of high quality, low-fee primary healthcare clinics that aims to reach 10 million Africans who depend on the overwhelmed and under-resourced public healthcare system to access quality, efficient healthcare services.|
Rhiza has created a clinic business model that uses the following innovations to create high quality community clinics servicing low-income communities, that are also sustainable nurse-owned businesses.
The up scaling of this model is enabled by a full clinical network model.
